What an eventful day for Team Airsupply at Mallory Park!
🥇 TRACKDAY CHAMPIONSHIP 🥇
The father-and-son duo meant business from the moment they arrived, securing pole position in qualifying before taking the race win by just 0.248 seconds.
Jack started the race and delivered an outstanding opening stint before handing over to George with just 10 minutes remaining. With right on his bumper, George was immediately under pressure, but he thrives in those moments. The pair put on an incredible battle, running side-by-side through multiple corners, but George held his nerve, defended brilliantly, and brought home the trophy.
🥇 TRACKDAY TROPHY 🥉
Fresh from the Championship pole and win, George was ready to go again. The mean machine came alive in the wet conditions, qualifying P9 overall and P3 in class.
Come race time, confidence was high. George kept his head down and fought his way through the field, taking the battle right to the front-running B cars he crossed the line P3 overall and P1 in class. Another trophy and another fantastic result for the team.
🏎 PORSCHE
As for Jack and Matty in the Porsche… let’s just say the wet weather wasn’t their friend!
The boys battled hard and secured P5 in qualifying, but as the rain intensified, the car became a real handful. Choosing to bring it home rather than risk it all, they put in a sensible drive. Unfortunately, a pit stop that was three seconds too short resulted in a one-lap penalty, leaving them 11th overall at the finish…we won’t talk about this 🤐
A weekend full of trophies, lessons learned, and plenty of positives to take forward.
