🚘Trainee Estimator Job 🚘

Irish Road Motors Accident Repair Centre is the largest, most experienced and longest established Accident Repair Centre in Northern Ireland, built on pioneering workmanship and leading edge technology.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Trainee Estimator to join our busy team at Irish Road Motors.

The role is based in our Campsie office and will work closely with our Management team to deliver a professional and efficient service to our Customers.

About the role:

It is a permanent, full-time role, working hours 8:00-5.30 Monday to Thursday and 8:00 to 4:00pm on Fridays.
20 Days Holidays plus 9 Stat holidays
Remuneration to be discussed at interview.

Role duties and responsibilities

- You will be training to become a Vehicle Damage Assessor, learning how to assess damage on vehicles that come in for repair and provide reports for the repairs.
- The role will also include the processing of parts from the initial order to checking in.

About the candidate

Our ideal candidate has the following:
- A good understanding of how a Bodyshop operates
- A competent level at GCSE Maths, English and IT.
- Attention to detail
- Will work well in a busy environment and is a skilled multi—tasker with ability to re-prioritise with ease
- Works well under pressure.
- Good IT skills
- Full, clean driving license
- Experience working in the motor industry is not required, however is desirable.

As part of a team of specialists you will undertake the repair or replacement of body work panels of damaged vehicles. The successful candidates will have at least 3 years previous experience in a very similar role and strong team work skills. As a body shop repair technician we would like you to have an interest and passion in what we do. We would also appreciate if you would have your own stocked tool box, excellent job knowledge and be highly motivated.
