🚗Looking for a driving school where lessons are built around you, not around a fixed template?
At Drive Croydon, we’re proud to be a small, boutique driving school. Our learners often tell us that what they value most is the individual approach, patience and the way we adapt every lesson to their needs, confidence and progress.

We’re Sylwia and Anna, and we believe that everyone learns differently. Some learners need more time to build confidence, others want to focus on specific skills or prepare intensively for their practical test. That’s why we create a learning plan that works for you.
In our driving school, each lesson lasts 2 hours. This gives us enough time to work properly on your skills, practise different road situations and make each session as effective as possible.
Our goal is not only to help you pass your driving test, but to teach you how to drive safely, confidently and independently.

If you’re thinking about starting your driving lessons in October, now is the right time to book your place and plan your course.
Join our happy learners and start your driving journey with Drive Croydon.

Your success is our success! 🚗🎉
The day you pass your driving test is a celebration for all of us. For you, it marks the beginning of a new journey and greater independence. For us, as instructors, it proves that carefully selected teaching methods, techniques and individual learning plans really do bring results.

Every learner is different. You each begin with your own needs, experiences and concerns. That is why, at Drive Croydon, we take the time to understand you and tailor every lesson to your pace, personality and goals.

Drive Croydon is a small, boutique driving school run by a close-knit team of instructors – Sylwia and Anna. We share the same patient, supportive and personal approach to teaching. Being a small school allows us to offer greater flexibility, continuity and a comfortable learning environment tailored to every student.

The best confirmation that our approach works comes from your reviews:

“I’ve had the pleasure to learn to drive with Sylwia, couldn’t be more thankful for my experience and couldn’t recommend Drive Croydon enough! I managed to pass first time and that’s all down to the great lessons I’ve had, catered to me and giving me the confidence as time went on! Again, thank you so much and I’ll really miss our lessons ☺️”
– Megan Cooper

🚗 More and more of my learners tell me that the biggest challenge today is not the driving test itself, but finding an available test date.

The UK Government has confirmed that the target of reducing driving test waiting times to 7 weeks will not be achieved until autumn 2027. The current average waiting time is around 22 weeks.

The DVSA has already introduced several changes to help improve the situation:

✅ Only learners can book their own driving tests
✅ A test appointment can only be changed twice
✅ Tests can only be moved to one of the three nearest test centres
✅ More driving examiners are being recruited

As a driving instructor, I see how important it is to plan both lessons and the driving test well in advance. That's why I always encourage my learners not to leave booking their test until the last minute.

If you're learning to drive or thinking about starting lessons, I'd be happy to help you plan your training and prepare for your test at the right time.

🎉🚗 Two more passes – two more confident drivers on the road! 🚗🎉

Huge congratulations to our two amazing students who passed their driving test 👏✨

At Drive Croydon, we don’t just teach you how to “get through” the test.
We teach you how to drive properly, understand the logic of the road, and think independently behind the wheel.

If you want to:
✔ learn from start to finish with a clear structure
✔ truly understand how driving works
✔ build real confidence step by step
✔ follow a proper learning plan

— you’re in the right place.

We’re not for “school hoppers” 🚫
One hour here, one hour there, no structure, no continuity, no real progress.

Like any form of education, learning to drive requires:
📚 a plan
🧠 proper teaching methods
🔁 consistency
🎯 commitment

And the results speak for themselves 👏

Drifting in London? 😬
Of course.

A crowd filming on their phones? 📱👀
No awareness. No thought that someone could get hit.
Absolute madness.

London through a driving instructor’s eyes —
nothing surprises me anymore.

Just to be clear:
❌ Not a Drive Croydon student.

This is exactly how we do NOT drive.🚫🚗

We teach calm, safe driving in London 😎
And yes — we tame heavy right feet 👣

Big changes may be coming for learner drivers in the UK 🚗

On 7 January 2026, the Department for Transport launched a public consultation that could change how people learn to drive for a category B licence 🛣️ One of the main ideas is a Minimum Learning Period (MLP) before taking the practical test ⏳

Sounds serious? Maybe a little 😄 But no panic needed 🚦
More time, more practice, more real driving experience = more confidence behind the wheel 🚘✨

And honestly… the best way to be ready for any changes is simple👇
Sign up for a course with Drive Croydon 😎

With a good instructor by your side:
✅ new rules aren’t scary
✅ extra requirements aren’t stressful
✅ even if one day they decide we should drive on the right side… we’ll manage 😜➡️⬅️

Because rules may change, systems may change, but the most important thing never does:
a calm, patient instructor who knows how to teach *you* 🧠❤️

So if you’re planning to learn to drive in 2026 – relax 😌
Get the right instructor, enjoy the process, and everything else will be just another road sign 🪧😄
