The Philosophy Behind Our Scooters
Retrospective Scooters specialize in quality restorations and sales/repairs of Italian/Spanish scooters. We hand pick the finest, quality scooters from Italy/Spain which we then restore from the ground up whilst keeping the original look. We take the scooters down to bare metal and inspect and restore everything from component level up to the final assembly. Every element of the scooter is visually inspected, restored and tested to the highest of standards. We use brand-new quality components and finish with the highest quality paintwork. The difference is quality. Anyone or any shop can sell a “classic scooter”, and say it’s “restored”, however, it’s not the same thing. It could be painted badly, never had an engine rebuild or be just substandard wor

With our high standards, our scooters are rebuilt to ride and look new combined with modern day reliability. With years of experience behind us we pride ourselves on being the experts. Servicing/Maintenance/MOTs

Our fully equiped workshop carry out all types of servicing/repairs to geared scooters , and our large stock of spares assures the customer a fast turnaround time for any work carried out .

What does a proper restoration begin with?

In this workshop video, we look at a Vespa frame being prepared for restoration and explain why stripping, inspection and sound metalwork matter before primer and paint.
