Not everyone can walk to the top of the hill.
For wheelchair users, a day out at a big park can mean only seeing a small part of it, or being taken round separately from the people they came with. The PC Wheelchair is built to change that. We recently supplied one to Greenwich Park, one of The Royal Parks and a park well known for its hills, giving wheelchair users a way to get around together with their family, friends or carers. It's a long-wheelbase electric buggy with a space for a wheelchair between the front and rear seats. It climbs slopes of up to 25%, and an electromagnetic parking brake holds it firmly in place when it stops on steeper ground.
It's fully electric, so it's quiet and clean. It covers up to 50 miles on a charge, has a full-length roof for sun and showers, and the top speed can be set to suit busy paths.
If you run a park, attraction, hospital, care home or any large site and want to make it easier for everyone to get around, we'd be happy to talk it through.
