On behalf of the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Development Office (FCDO), Alan Stratford and Associates recently carried a review of air services to the remote island of St Helena, off the coast of southern Africa. Air services to and from Johannesburg, Cape Town and Ascension Island are provided by the South African regional airline, Airlink. The review is designed to identify how these air services can be developed in the future to promote economic growth and tourism to the island.

ASA is pleased to be carrying out a further aviation safeguarding assessment for airfields and airstrips located near the proposed North Humber to High Marnham Overhead Power Line. The assignment is part of the consultation programme carried out by the National Grid.

On behalf of the National Grid, ASA is undertaking an assessment of the possible operational impacts for nearby airfields and airstrips due to the proposed North Humber to High Marnham Overhead Power Line.
