Making the most of every inch on a 37ft liveaboard.
On a liveaboard, every bit of space counts. With this project, we transformed two outdoor areas into comfortable spaces that can be enjoyed all year round.
We designed and made bespoke enclosures for both the flybridge and back deck, effectively adding two new usable living areas to this 37ft motor cruiser.
For the flybridge, we also completed the upholstery and cushions, installed the marine carpet and added the finishing decorative touches, turning it into a warm, comfortable space while keeping those fantastic views over the water.
More usable space. More comfort. More ways to enjoy life on board, whatever the British weather.

Another bespoke project completed by Marine Canvas Hut.
Full aft enclosure, bespoke designed and fabricated, with a custom stainless-steel internal frame and large clear panels to maximise visibility and light.
The enclosure creates a fully protected, usable space at the stern while keeping the structure clean and unobtrusive from the outside.
Designed, fabricated and fitted by us from start to finish.

Back at the Southampton Boat Show after quite a few years, on a beautiful sunny day.
I finally met the amazing women from , who welcomed me as one of their own.
I also attended Hanneke Boon’s talk, continuing James Wharram’s legacy. She signed my book with three words: “Dream, Build, Sail.”
She doesn’t know me, but those three words describe me perfectly.
A great day of boats, inspiration and networking.

One of the perks of working by the Thames… you never know what might sail past!
Back in July, we were lucky enough to see the Nao Victoria sailing along the Thames, a replica of the legendary ship from Ferdinand Magellan’s expedition, which set out in 1519 to sail around the world.
The Victoria was the only ship of the expedition to complete the journey, returning to Spain in 1522 under the command of Juan Sebastián Elcano and completing the first circumnavigation of the world.
Definitely not something you see every day in London!

This is how the awning I made the other day turned out, all ready for a weekend fair.
Most of my work is on boats… but I do find it hard to say no to a client when they come to me with a different project! 😄

Just finished transforming this beautiful armchair with a bold new fabric. I love how the pattern brings the whole piece to life while keeping its classic with white piping, shape and character.
