Type 01. The name of a new era.

Type: A tradition dating back to 1951, first carried by the Le Mans-winning C-type.

0: Fully electric and zero tailpipe emissions. A complete reset.

1: The first in a new generation of Jaguars.

Bold design, instinctive driving and an original take on the family name.

XJ Series I, E-type, XJ Coupé and Jaguar XJS. To move forward, Jaguar engineers returned to these icons.

Not to revisit the past, but to understand what makes Jaguar unmistakable. The balance of performance, refinement and a sense of effortlessness.

Those principles now shape the next chapter:

An all-electric four-door GT, delivering over 1,000PS with millisecond responsiveness. The Jaguar embodies an engaging drive with deep reserves of power. Engineered to combine performance with exceptional composure.

Trace the feeling.

Before the new four-door GT, our engineers studied the vehicles that defined Jaguar.

From E-type to XJ, each era was shaped by the same two instincts: power and refinement, in balance. That legacy continues today.

‘The sensation of Geneva.’

At the 1961 Geneva Auto Show, E-Type made the world stop. Universally adored for its breathtaking design and 150mph speed, it set a precedent for everything that followed.

When the E-type landed at the 1961 Geneva Auto Show, the world stood in awe.

With its sculpted bonnet, bullet-shaped form and 150mph performance, it was a true statement of intent. A rejection of convention.

Moments like this define Jaguar - from XKSS to XJS, and now Type 00.

Original then. Original now.

Coloured in bold.

As far back as the SS models, when all-black was the norm, striking colour set us apart. Early two-tone blue and silver signalled an affinity for colour, now emblazoned in our DNA.

Born bold.

From our earliest days, Sir William Lyons championed exuberant colour and striking design. Two-tone bodies, plush interiors, and a welcome departure from the uniform black cars of the day.

That spirit was reimagined through the vibrant palettes of the SS models and E-type, and lives on today in Type 00.

Original then. Original now.

Shaped by lineage.

A distinctive long bonnet and signature proportions. Type 00 - a vision of reinvention.
