With temperatures soaring across the UK, looking after our team has been a top priority. ☀️
🌡️ The forecast said 30°C... so we prescribed ice cream and hydration!

This week, we made sure everyone stayed refreshed by handing out cold water and ice creams to help beat the heat while they worked.
It’s a small gesture, but we know that when people feel valued and supported, it makes a real difference. We’re incredibly grateful for the hard work and dedication of our team, especially during challenging weather conditions. 🍦💧

A huge thank you to everyone for keeping spirits high and continuing to do a fantastic job.
Let’s hope the sunshine sticks around (just maybe not quite this hot! 😉).

This beautifully restored Jensen Interceptor GT is a perfect example of craftsmanship meeting iconic design. Every detail on this car deserved attention, especially the brightwork.

Our contribution focused on the polished chrome and polished stainless steel finishes throughout the vehicle, bringing back the deep shine and crisp reflections that make these classics truly stand out from the crowd. The contrast between the restored bodywork and the mirror-finish metalwork gives the car the presence it was always meant to have.

Projects like this are a reminder that restoration is about more than appearance, it’s about preserving character, heritage, and the feeling these cars create when they roll into a room.

Proud to have played a part in bringing this stunning Interceptor GT back to life.

If we can help anyone with your classic car restoration projects, you know where to find us.

We love bringing classic automotive pieces back to life — and it’s even better when it means something special to our customers.

We recently had the privilege of restoring a 35-year-old MX5 roll bar from a customer’s father’s race car.

Here’s what they had to say about their experience with us:

“DMF/Ashford Chroming were recommended to me. I wanted to restore a 35 year old MX5 roll bar from my father’s race car. It had a lot of corrosion, and I needed it to be a good job. They were really helpful and provided a quick competitive quote. They organised collection so that was helpful and the end result is outstanding. I am delighted with the result. Looks as good as new.”

Feedback like this is exactly why we do what we do. Thank you for trusting us with such a meaningful project.

If you have a restoration project in mind, we’d be happy to help.
