Together, we have created a powerful partnership and are excited to be offering EV Conversion Units for our beloved Classic VWs.
We are using brand new EV components from Volkswagen Group Components original parts to combine the Beetle’s unique history with the latest future technology. At the heart of our electric conversions lies the e-Basis Chassis offering modern high-performance running gear with state of the art regenerative braking systems, providing a driving range of over 400km on a single charge!

Who doesn’t love the VW campervan? With more and more of us choosing staycations with caravans, motorhomes and campervans, this has to be one of the coolest classics around! Symbolising the hedonistic decades of the 60s and 70s, when all that was needed to getaway was fuel and surfboard, they evoke feelings of freedom and happiness. Personalising their look was prevalent, with many decorating theirs with flowers and bright colours. Today the campervan is much more than a fad, it’s up there with the great classics and has attracted a new generation of ‘cool’ camping enthusiasts.

YES! Olive and Tangerine have the very same, state of the art brand new HV batteries from the most illustrious Volkswagen Group Components factory. Through Volkswagen AG's excellent e-mobility strategy, they have benevolently created a radically awesome relationship between Volkswagen Group Components & eClassics GmbH, to bring to market mind bending EV conversion units for the iconic classic Volkswagens, the Original People's car.

We here at at Jacks Garage, the UK partners of eClassics, are very very excited at what the future holds, helping us to keep these beloved beauties on the road for generations to come.

Here’s our famous T2 Volkswagen Campervan which has been converted to 100% electric. This beautiful piece of machinery is up there alongside the great and most famous VW’s ever, including the Beetle. With the growing trend of campervan holidays, and a number of celebrity owners including Jamie Oliver, Jenson Button, Robbie Williams and Richard Hammond, you’ll be in good company with yours.

We have huge, exciting plans for the future and have partnered with eClassics GmbH in Germany and are offering EV Conversion Units for our beloved Classic VWs.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take your career to the next level. You will receive training on the latest technology at eClassics HQ in Germany, with all expenses and wages paid, and work with the finest ‘state-of-the-art’ technology around. All we ask is that you share our vision and passion for these iconic classics, have demonstrable mechanical or bodywork experience and want to be part of our very exciting future.

We offer highly competitive salaries, a friendly, professional environment and the chance to advance your career. Our official opening hours are 8am-6pm, with the possibility of additional hours from 7am-7pm. A driving licence is essential you need to be able to speak, read and write in English. We are based just off the M40 and are a few minutes’ walk from Ladbroke Grove and Latimer Road tube stations.
