FACT 10. Did you know that when we were in Burlington mews, the next lock up (number 10) was used for filming steptoe & son in the 1960’s. In the programme, the man you see driving the cart was the owner of both the horse & cart (as he didn’t trust the film people with his animals) 🫢 😮

Did you know that current owner, Henry (me) had another business prior to owning Burlington Motors - Foundation fitness, a mobile personal training company established in 2010 which was run alongside Burlington motors for a few years before Barry retired and I took over and foundation fitness came to a close 🏋🏻🏃‍♂️😁 🚙 👨🏼‍🔧

FACT 6. Following on from Sunday’s London marathon - Did you know that about the time Len started Burlington motors in 1956, he was a decent athlete at 24yrs of age and sporadically trained alongside Roger Bannister, Chris Chattaway & Chris Brasher. 🏃‍♂️😁 🚙 👨🏼‍🔧

Did you know before we resided at number 52 birkbeck road, it was previously residence to another garage called Webbs Garage (owned by George Webb - he had been set up as a partnership & the partner left, George lived in North London & he found the travel & being on his own too much). Before that it was a spares department for British Rail and prior to that it was used as a warehouse for Fyffes Bananas 😁 🚙 👨🏼‍🔧
