Another excellent result for Team Mecatech UK at Wombwell Rc Track for round 5 of the Large Scale British Championship.

Our drivers “locked out” the podium in the A Final (Top Final) taking 1st, 2nd and 3rd. And Won the C Final (Aaron Weston)

Well done to David Bowen for achieving pole position yet again and a flawless drive leading the race from start to finish.

Well done also to Barry Abbott and Jarret Williams for the immense battle for 2nd and 3rd ( Jarret set the fastest lap of the final).

Congratulations to Jason Weaver (one of our newest and youngest drivers) who did not get any practice and went straight into race day qualifying 6th in the A Final and finishing 6th. Definitely a driver to watch in the future.

Last weekend saw the first and second round of the UK Championships held at the prestigious Cotswold Model Car Club.

The weather was kind all weekend which provided some excellent track conditions and by Sunday the grip was good.

Round 1 saw some amazing results from the Mecatech Racing Components FW01 with 8 out of 10 cars in the A final (top final) and 14 out of the top 20.

The Mecatech drivers dominated all weekend across the two rounds securing all top 3 podiums.

Well done to David Bowen who claimed TQ in both rounds and the win.

This weekend was also the debut of Jason Weaver. This was the first time he has raced his FW01 short and his first time at this track with very little practice. He managed to secure a place in the A final finishing very well.

Thank you to all the drivers who support Team Mecatech UK and also the people who help us track side.

We look forward to rounds 3 and 4 at Halifax Rc Track and let’s hope we can continue this momentum of success.

Last weekend saw the start of the UK championship with the first two rounds being held at Cotswold Model Car Club.

The weather was great all weekend especially on Sunday and Monday which was critical for grip levels which were good.

Great results all weekend and the Mecatech Racing Components FW01 cars dominated from start to finish.

We took all of the podiums in the A finals both rounds which was amazing!!!

8 of the 10 cars in the A final (top final) were mecatech and also 14 of the top 20.

Congratulations to David Bowen who TQ both rounds and won both A finals with his new Mecatech Top Gun chassis.

Well done also to Jason Weaver who made it to the A final, his first time driving a Mecatech and his first time at this track.

Well done to all the drivers who attended, some amazing results in the other finals also.

We look forward to the next rounds at Halifax Rc Track and let’s hope we can carry on this momentum of victories 👍🏽🏁
