🔧 Land Rover Discovery V6 Oil Leak — What Did It Really Cost?

This 3.0-litre Discovery 4 had reached 118,000 miles when an oil leak became a serious engine problem.

The rear main seal was leaking, while oil was also coming from the timing-chain tensioner housing. Investigation pointed to worn piston rings and bore glazing contributing to excessive crankcase pressure.
