This 1993 RUF RCT Coupé is no ordinary 964. Originally supplied new in the UK before returning to Germany to be transformed by RUF, it became the very first UK RUF RCT demonstrator and one of the most significant right-hand drive RCTs ever produced.
Powered by the legendary 370bhp RUF RCT turbocharged flat-six with a RUF six-speed manual gearbox, bespoke Speedline wheels and the full RUF aerodynamic package, this is the car that introduced the British market to the RUF driving experience. It even featured in 911 & Porsche World, where it was praised as being better suited to British roads than Porsche’s own Carrera RS.
Having covered just circa 60,000 miles from new, supported by an exceptional history file, 17 stamped services, an engine rebuild by GT One Ltd and presented in outstanding condition, this remarkable RUF still delivers the feel and character that made it an icon.
