According to this story in the Daily Mail, if you charge your electric vehicle on the road, filling it up is now MORE expensive than petrol.

Motorists with a driveway and a home charger can top up their cars for as little as 5p per kWh, while those who use a council-supported charging network can pay 65p per kWh.

Today we had a Vauxhall Astra come into the garage that we used to service but hadn't seen it since 2018. The customer had taken the car to another garage in the meantime, and according to the service book, had had it serviced every year. When our technician removed the oil filter, this is what we found - thick black oil and this deteriorated filter.

It appears that the other garage stamped the service book, but never changed the oil and filter.

Another reminder, that if the price is too good to be true, think twice!

This is a locking wheel bolt set. Most car wheels are fitted with locking wheel bolts to deter the theft of road wheels. Please ensure that the locking wheel bolt key is in your car when you deliver your car to the garage. If it isn't in your car, your service or repair may be delayed, and you may have to pay extra money to have our technicians remove your wheels.
