The Krays Jaguar (1990 Film Car) - Up for Auction at Bonhams Cars!

I have owned this car for the last 6 years. I have fully restored it and have since travelled 1000 miles (without issue). Its now time for me to part ways and let someone else enjoy it. So, I have commissioned 'Bonhams Cars Online' to auction the vehicle on my behalf. The online auction should begin within the next week.

The sun decided to stay with us for little bit longer so I took the opportunity to pop over to Kent to take my dad out for lunch to cheer him up after his brother past away a week ago.

Had lunch at the Woolpack on the A20 near Ashford, caught up with an old school mate David Last to find out more about his new book, popped into the Park Gate Inn near Leeds Castle for a sneaky pint on the way home.

After a successful summer visiting shows, locations and people dear to me, I decided to MOT the car before tucking it away for the winter (mot being optional on a car of this age).

Passed with flying colours yesterday.

Been on a little pilgrimage this morning into Central London with the Jaguar 420G, back to a few of the film locations and even to the site of the Krays family home in Vallance Rd.

Another sunny Sunday, another car show. This time it's The Lawn at Rochford in Essex. A well turned out event and again, the car behaved without fault. Blimey, it's hot out here!

Another sunny Saturday, another journey out in the freshy restored Jaguar. This time it was over to Kent to take my dad out for father's day lunch at the Red Lion in Charing Heath.

100 mile round trip and the car performed perfectly and never missed a beat 😁👍😎

Update on the restoration, today for the first time I've been able to run the car around the block without any misfire or coughing from the engine compartment, it took three months to sort out (around work and other family commitments) and involved a complete rebuild of the carbs.

This signifies the end to the restoration process. It's taken 3 years (to the month) from start to finish. Only 'detailing' and a small snag list left to sort, which I will tackle over the winter months.
