Albury Repair Works Ltd is looking for a fully qualified and experienced Mechanic with at least 5 years experience with a practical understanding of operating diagnostic equipment. (A fully certified MOT Tester licence would be advantageous).
The Vehicle Technician role is responsible for the maintenance and repairs of vehicles. The Vehicle Technician will be responsible for thorough vehicle inspection, diagnosis, repair and maintenance. This individual will work alongside the Service Manager to ensure that all vehicle repairs are performed in a timely manner while maintaining quality standards.
The candidate must be able to work on their own using their own initiative but also as part of a team. Someone who is confident and has strong communication skills is also essential.
A clean full driving licence is essential for this position, no provisionals can be accepted.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide thorough vehicle inspection, diagnosis, repair and maintenance.
• Own tools essential.
• Work alongside Service Manager to ensure that all repairs are performed in a timely manner while maintaining quality standards.
• Maintain clean workshop environment by keeping vehicle shop area clean and organized.
• Perform all duties in accordance with company policy.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service.
• Support and assist other technicians as needed.
