Since Phil Denton Engineering Limited began, the Company ethos has remained unchanged – ‘Superb quality and nothing less’. Every item that we manufacture or product that we market from other manufacturers must answer one simple question – “Would we be proud to put that on our own bike?”. Our Company grew from a hobby which reflected a life-long passion for motorcycles and an Engineer’s training. Although modern bikes are wonderful to ride, it’s always seemed so much more fun to take an old and tired bike that had given it’s best and suffered years of abuse in return and to restore it to pristine condition. The Stainless Steel components that we produce are all exact replicas of the original component that they replace, and are manufactured to the highest possible levels of precision in either Grade 303 or High Tensile Grade 431 Stainless Steel. Components which are subjected to extreme loadings, such as wheel spindles for Moto-X machines are also heat treated to maximum strength. Our Aluminium components are manufactured either in Grade 6082 or, where maximum strength is required, Grade 7075.

Josh Spinks had a great weekend at Farleigh Castle!
Our 1980 Red Rocket did the business again and ran like a champ all weekend. She never missed a beat!
The 2000, the rear shock spring was a little hard and we struggled to get it sat down into the stroke and working properly. But Josh managed to ride round this and put in 4 excellent rides helping team GB to a podium finish!
I don't think I've ever seen anyone look so smooth and relaxed, while going so damned fast on a Twinshock before!!

Sadly, after qualifying 2nd in the Twinshock class and 14th for the team race, (pretty sure there were some Transponder glitches working through the system on Saturday morning!) Rob Holyoake dislocated his ankle on the 1st lap of the 1st Team race on Saturday (after pulling an absolutely stonking Holeshot on his trusty CR500!)
Despite considerable pain, he decided to try and ride the 2nd Twinshock race. (He missed the 1st as it was back to back with the team race)
Which, he also Holeshot and managed a 3rd place finish!!

After the race, once the adrenaline had subsided the pain was too much and he made the decision to go to hospital and have it checked out.
He's reported to us that his ankle went back in without trapping any nerves. So now he needs to wait for the swelling to go down before any further assessment can be made.

We wish you a speedy recovery Rob, and we're looking forward to seeing you out on a Rocket again in the future!

Both Josh and Rob (and their families!) were an absolute pleasure to work with!

The bikes are all prep'd, the vans all packed, the coffee has done its thing and we're ready to roll out for the 5hr drive down to Farleigh Castle Vets MX this morning! Let's go racing!!

Mmm mmmmm!! Super crispy!! After full bare frame strip down and rebuild after the sand of Hawkstone Josh Spinks Racing's Team GB ride is ready to go and she sounds sweeeettt! 🤌🤌
We're really looking forward to seeing some throttle cables getting stretched this weekend at Farleigh Castle Vets MX. Let's go!!!
