Ford Transit 2.0L not starting when cold 🥶

We have had a few 2.0L transits recently with pitted and damaged valve seats. Causing starting issues when cold and a long crank duration

The damaged valves seats cause low cylinder compression

This is a common issue with the early 2.0L transit engines around 2017

❌This particular vehicle has had thousands spent with other garages trying to rectify this starting issues. Including 14 fuel injectors in total😩

☑️We carried out a simple compression test which confirmed a clear issue, especially on cylinder 2 and 4.

☑️Pics below showing a new head casting with updated valve seats, correct thickness head gasket, new turbo and fuel injectors. Problem solved without the need of a new engine

☑️We have also applied our EGR software solution to the engine PCM. This ensures no carbon deposits on the intake valves, and a more efficient engine. further helping the valve seats and their longevity

🚨Trailer ABS Fault Diagnosed and Repaired🚨

🔹We went to this trailer and diagnosed a total of 3 different faults.

🔹Internal pressure sensor in the main ABS control unit was reading incorrectly.

🔹We also found 2 ABS sensor cables to be damaged.

✅We carried out the repair by replacing the main ABS modulator and reprogramming with Jaltest

✅The damaged ABS cables were also replaced

🚨Temsa Coach Diagnostics + Repairs 🚨

🔹We were called out to this Coach which had a DAF MX-11 Engine

🔹We managed to connect Jaltest diagnostics which showed a fault with the BPV (back pressure valve) in the exhaust system.

🔹This part cost over £3000. Further Checks were carried out to the wiring and CAN system to confirm a faulty component.

✅We replaced the faulty BPV at the customers premises with a 1 day turnaround.

🔹This van came to us having constant issues with a blocked DPF. It had been back to a garage 4 times and the van still in limp mode.

🔹The DPF filter was removed and it was obviously blocked solid with hardened ash and carbon.

🔹Problem was diagnosed using Jaltest diagnostics

🔹ECU Remapped using Alientech’s Kess3

🔹DPF filter removed on site by ourselves

✅Stage 1 Remap for more power and torque

✅Gains from 169bhp to 210bhp
✅40% increase in torque for towing
✅EGR deleted

🔹The truck is now reported to be doing 30mpg while towing
