As the year draws to a close, we would like to thank all our customers for their continued support throughout 2025. We genuinely appreciate the trust you place in us to keep your vehicles safe and roadworthy.

Looking ahead to the new year, we are excited to be expanding. In early 2026 we will be opening a dedicated MOT bay and wheel alignment centre in Unit 11 next door, which was our original building that some of you may remember. This investment will allow us to continue improving the service we offer.

The new year also brings new opportunities. We will be recruiting an experienced Service Advisor and an MOT Tester, so if you are looking for a new challenge or know someone who might be a good fit, please DM us for more information.

We’re at it again…….

5 years after our last big move we’re doing it all again and going back to where we started off from!

Some of you will remember we started in Unit 11, next to the local landmark that is Andy Tyres and quickly outgrew it, so we gave it up and moved to the detached unit next door (11A) which effectively doubled our capacity.

We’ve built up a first-class team that have worked hard supporting our customers as best we can, offering a real credible alternative to the Mercedes-Benz Dealer Network for Servicing, Repairs & Diagnostics.

Unit 11 had a new tenant in place who has since moved on, which meant it has been empty for some time. The decision was made to take on this additional unit to increase our workshop capacity and expand our current offering.

We’ve now got the mammoth task ahead of us of turning the empty shell into a state of the art workshop. Fortunately we’ve got some of the best local trades on board and are working closely with Snap-On Workshop Solutions who are supplying us with some first class equipment.

We’re going to need a few more people to join our team, so I’d be interested to hear from any experienced Service Advisors, Technicians and MOT Testers that are looking for a new challenge next year.

As part of our continued expansion we are seeking a qualified, competent Diagnostic Technician to join our team at Three Point Automotive.

We are located in the heart of all things automotive in Llandudno Junction, specialising in the service and repair of Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Although we are primarily a Mercedes-Benz specialist workshop, we are regularly entrusted to look after other prestige marques from manufacturers such as Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini and Bentley to name a few, so there will be plenty of variety.

Working as part of a team, we are looking for someone to put their technical expertise to good use and take the lead when undertaking diagnostic activities to identify causes and find solutions to complex vehicle issues. We have factory diagnostic equipment and access to all manufacturer technical information systems to help you along your way, with no strict targets or pressures on upselling.

Great communication skills are essential as you will be required to have discussions with customers to help understand their vehicle’s problem and keep them updated throughout the diagnostic process. There will also be a requirement to work with parts suppliers to ensure that the correct parts are obtained usually via email or telephone.

In addition to the diagnostic role there will be a requirement to carry out mechanical tasks, such as routine servicing, repair work and four-wheel alignment on our new state of the art machine.

In return we can offer a competitive salary, dependant on experience as well as Manufacturer specific training on new models and systems. You can use all our parts accounts for trade discounts on parts and have full use of all the workshop facilities for your own and families vehicles.

Hours of work are 8.30am – 5pm Monday to Friday, which can be adapted to suit and an option for overtime will be available.

Current employment in this type of role, or working towards it as well as a driving licence are essential.

In what has been yet another eventful year for us all, I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to all of our loyal and new customers this year. Thank you for putting your trust in the Three Point Automotive team to keep your vehicles at their best.

I also want to thank all of our fantastic suppliers. I know that it has been particularly challenging in terms of parts delays, so thank you for always trying your best for our customers.

Lastly, but by no means least, thank you to Simon, Tony, and Dave for their ongoing hard work, expertise, level heads, and support - these guys work tirelessly to make sure that every one and every vehicle is well looked after day after day.

All that remains to say is that we’re closed until Tuesday 3rd January 2023 to ensure the team gets a well deserved rest, so wishing you all a good Christmas and see you in the new year!

Although we are primarily a Mercedes-Benz specialist workshop, we are regularly entrusted to look after other prestige marques from manufacturers such as Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini and Bentley to name a few, so there will be plenty of variety.

Working as part of a team, we are looking for someone to carry out routine servicing, following manufacturers schedules and mechanical repairs on a wide variety of vehicles. Basic electrical diagnostic skills are preferred, however a dedicated training programme can be provided for the right person.

In return we can offer a competitive salary, dependant on experience as well as Manufacturer specific training on new models and systems. You can use all our parts accounts for trade discounts on parts for your own vehicles and have full use of all the workshop facilities whenever you need.

Hours of work are 8.30am – 5pm Monday to Friday, which can be adapted to suit and an option for overtime will be available.

Motor trade relevant qualifications and driving licence are essential.

While it's a shame to see Drew Pritchard Architectural Antiques leaving Conwy high street, it's nice to see our Three Point Automotive van papped in the picture!

Actually, this is most likely because I was getting the best coffee and cake from our friends L's Coffee & Book Shop All the best to Drew and his team, and hopefully another fantastic business is waiting in the wings as Conwy is a great place to be, especially if you drink coffee!
