It is with a heavy heart that we bring you an update on our Caterham 7 experiences for the upcoming 2024 season. Despite our best efforts, we have encountered insurmountable challenges in securing insurance coverage for our beloved Caterham 7.
Last year, our insurance broker, Alan Boswell, provided coverage through Market Study. However, due to their merger with Atlanta Group, they are no longer offering cover this year. We have tirelessly reached out to 33 other insurance companies specializing in Self Drive Hire Insurance, only to be met with unfortunate news ā not a single one is willing to provide the coverage we need.
We believe in transparency and want to share with you the list of insurance companies we've contacted, along with some of the responses we received. This is not the outcome we had hoped for, and we share in your disappointment.
We have already contacted all customers who purchased Gift Vouchers over the Christmas period and all of our 2024 bookings. In keeping with our commitment to your satisfaction, we will be providing refunds to all affected customers.
As a result of this situation, we regret to inform you that we are not selling the Caterham 7 experiences for the 2024 season. However, we want to assure you that if we can resolve this issue down the line, we will be back to provide you with an unparalleled experience in 2025. (We are not selling the car and will keep working on this)
