Are you an experienced Service Advisor ready for your next move?

LVS Garage Services is looking for an experienced, forward-thinking motor trade professional to join our established team.

This is far more than a traditional reception role.

You’ll be right at the heart of our busy workshop, working closely with our Garage Manager and Owner to coordinate the daily workload, look after our customers and help keep the entire garage moving.

We’re looking for someone who:

📞 Is confident dealing with customers, suppliers and technicians
📋 Can organise and coordinate a fast-paced workshop

Here's something most people don't realise about winter driving 🌡️:
For every 10°C drop in temperature, your tyre pressure can drop by 1-2 PSI. Low pressure means less grip, higher fuel costs, and uneven wear.

MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician

Salary: £36,000 – £40,000 per year (DOE)

Role Summary

We are looking for a skilled MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician to join our busy workshop. The successful candidate will carry out MOT testing alongside servicing, diagnostics, and repairs, ensuring vehicles meet safety and legal standards.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct MOT tests in line with DVSA regulations

Diagnose faults and carry out repairs and servicing

Inspect vehicle systems including brakes, suspension, lighting, and exhausts

Accurately record test results and recommend repairs where required

Maintain MOT testing equipment and follow health & safety procedures

Communicate clearly with customers and colleagues

Requirements

Valid MOT Tester licence (essential)

Fully qualified and experienced Vehicle Technician

Strong mechanical and diagnostic knowledge

Full UK driving licence

Own tools required (workshop equipment provided)

Reliable, detail-oriented, and a strong team player

Hours:
Mon–Thu 8:00–5:30 | Fri 8:00–5:00
Saturday 8:00–12:00 (overtime)
