2008 Nissan micra the lady brought this one in because she had an advisory on her MOT for anti roll bar link has play and she had noticed a squeak also we replaced the drop link and the squeak we gone

2019 transit custom came into us because it was clicking when turning left and right which we all know that is caused by a failure on the CV boot and that was it advised the customer that he needed a couple of CV boots but the customer chose to replace both drive shafts that is the customer's choice as I have said in the past we just give the customer all the options available to them and are advise and then let them make there choice so

Another busy week at W&J Motos seems to be van week this week haha

Customer phoned us to say that he heard a loud bang and then his dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree so we went and had a look and soon realised that his alternator had seized snapping the fully wheel off and rapping the belt around the crank pully so after 40 minutes untangling what was left of the belt we then removed the alternator which was covered in oil so was the course of the failure so that meant that we had to find the oil leak which we did turns out the customer had checked the oil level recently and had not put the dip stick back in correctly so when the car was running the oil was coming back out of there and dripping directly onto the alternator customer advice

2016 Peugeot 2008 came into us because it was telling the customer that it needed add-blue and it would not start in 350 miles even though the customer had filled the add-blue tank and added a decrystal solution on the advise of another garage but again advise of people that don't know what they are on about so just to make people sort of aware Peugeot and citreon have a secondary fluid tank at the rear under the car that also injects fluid into the DPF so the car makes less soot this tank being empty also puts the add-blue warning on

2018 skoda vrs came into us today because it was losing water quite quickly when filling quick inspection and we found that it had a split in one of the pipes from the water pump to the heater matrix new pipe fitted and he was back to work in 90 minutes so didnt lose to much money

Another day and another one from my favourite car brand 2012 range rover sport now this one ended up being a absolute nightmare to start with the customer reports that it was just turning over and wouldn't start then it stopped turning over all together so he called us we got the car recovered for him after inspection turns out the the starter motor was burnt out so as with any other job we needed to know why it had done this and it was all done to the engine to body earth strap had corroded and snapped so

Had this one in today for a full service and engine and DPF carbon clean so this started to show a warning on the dashboard saying DPF over filled now what you tend to find with alot of people who offer DPF cleaning is they will clean it for you but never solve the route cause so couple of month's down line you are left with the same problem again at W&J motors we like to find the cause so it doesn't do it again and like 90% of these ford's the problem was do to a split turbo boost pipe so

⭐️full service (new oil new oil filter new air filter new cabin filter new diesel filter brake fluid topped up coolant topped up screen wash filled)
⭐️full diagnostic health check and service light rest
⭐️full DPF and engine carbon clean and sensor rest

This 2014 ford transit custom came into us from one of are very good customers because it had a water leak and also needed a new engine mount turns out the water pump had a crack in it so needed a new one bit of a nightmare on the 2.2 custom because they are part of the power steering pump on these so the water pump and power steering pump have to come of together but we got it done for him
