Now THIS one was special. 😎

There's a very good chance this will be my Car of the Year.

Having owned a Honda Beat back in the day, this little thing stopped me dead in my tracks when I spotted it at the meet.

As a long-time kei car fan and former owner of a few myself, I knew two things instantly:

🏆 It had to be my pick for Best in Show.

🏁 I HAD to get it into the studio.

After a quick chat with owner George, the deal was done. A few weeks later, this incredible Honda S660 rolled through the doors. Quite possibly the only one I'll ever get the chance to work on. 😍

What a machine.

660cc. Mid-engined. Lightweight. Bright yellow.

Perfection. 💛

This little pocket rocket received a single-stage machine polish before being protected head to toe with Gtechniq coatings.

It's not every day you get to spend time with something this rare, quirky and cool.

Just a slight improvement over the factory-fitted plates 😱

Check out this fresh set of our Premium 3D Gel Plates, replacing this incredibly poor attempt from the main dealer on a BRAND NEW luxury vehicle.

With less than 100 miles on the clock, the original plates were already dull, faded, contaminated beneath the acrylic, poorly drilled, suffering from delamination, and had excess reflective overhang. It genuinely doesn't get much worse on a brand-new premium vehicle 🤦🏼‍♂️

Our fresh 3D Gel Plates are sharp, glossy, perfectly pressed, and completely free from defects or contamination. Better still, every set is ceramic coated as standard for enhanced gloss, easier maintenance, and long-lasting protection 😎

It was a pleasure to welcome and his stunning new Mk8.5 Golf R into the studio recently. 😎

As big Golf R fans ourselves, we were excited to get our hands on the very first Mk8.5 we've worked on, and it certainly didn't disappoint. Volkswagen have done a fantastic job with these.

Before any protection was applied, we carried out a full safe wash and decontamination process, followed by a single-stage machine polish to maximise gloss and refine the finish. ✨

To lock everything in, we treated the vehicle to a full suite of coatings from head to toe. 👌🏼

The paintwork received Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light Black, featuring a base layer of Crystal Serum Light, backed by a 5-year guarantee, topped with EXOv5 for even greater gloss, slickness, hydrophobic performance and long-term protection. 💎

The result? Incredible depth, shine and protection, ready for many miles of enjoyment. 🔥
