We’ve been fortunate to work on a number of Porsches over the years, including several GT4s. Every so often, though, a particular specification arrives that simply stops you in your tracks.

This was one of them.

Gentian Blue Metallic, beautifully contrasted by gold wheels and yellow PCCB brake calipers, with carbon bucket seats and subtle yellow detailing continuing throughout the interior. An exceptional specification from every angle.

The GT4 joined us for a Single Stage Machine Polish, carefully refining the paintwork to enhance the clarity, depth and richness of the Gentian Blue.

Once perfected, the finish was protected with Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light, followed by EXOv5, adding exceptional gloss, slickness and long-term protection.

The result is a finish with remarkable depth and clarity, allowing every contour of the GT4 to catch the light exactly as it should.

A very special Porsche, presented at its absolute best.

PURE WHITE 🤝 SATIN AURUM ✨

Sometimes the simplest colour combinations just work.

This stunning 992 Porsche 911, finished in C9A Pure White, sitting on those gorgeous Satin Aurum gold wheels. 🤍🪙

The Aurum adds just enough colour against the crisp white paintwork without going completely overboard, and in person it looks absolutely fantastic.

What do we think? Gold wheels on a white 911... too bold, or absolutely perfect? 👀

For me, this combination is a winner. 👌🏼

🐎 DARK HORSE MEETS DARK HORSE 🐎

It was only a matter of time before one of these came through our doors… and given the name, we think it’s found the right place. 😂

Dark Horse Detailing, meet the Ford Mustang Dark Horse.

And what an example for our first one. Brand-new and finished in the incredible Blue Ember Metallic, this is definitely a Mustang with a little more bite.

The Dark Horse sits above the standard Mustang GT as the more serious, track-focused version of the 7th-generation Mustang, powered by a 5.0-litre naturally aspirated Coyote V8 producing around 500bhp in UK specification.

But it’s not just a GT with a few badges. The Dark Horse receives a host of performance upgrades, including MagneRide adaptive suspension, Brembo brakes, additional chassis bracing, improved cooling and a Torsen limited-slip differential, all designed to make it considerably more capable when the road gets twisty or the track gets involved.

This particular example joined us for our New Car Package, receiving:

▪️ Full safe wash & decontamination
▪️ Single-stage machine polish to refine the finish and maximise gloss
▪️ Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light ceramic coating
▪️ EXOv5 hydrophobic top coat
▪️ Total Surface Protection throughout

Paintwork, wheels, glass, trim, interior surfaces and more protected from day one. No surface inside or outside left unprotected.

And Blue Ember Metallic certainly rewards the effort. Depending on the light, it shifts from a deep, moody blue into bronze and violet tones. Quite some colour on quite some car. 👌

A proper old-school naturally aspirated V8, wrapped up in Ford’s most track-focused production Mustang this side of the GTD.

Dealership standards strike again… 👀

Now, this certainly isn’t the worst we’ve seen—but should a brand-new Mustang Dark Horse, costing somewhere in the region of £70,000–£85,000, really be suffering from this after just a couple of hundred miles?

The unusual marks on both rear wings have been caused by vibration from the spoiler. A couple of small rubber grommets underneath it have been rubbing against the bodywork and damaging the paint.

Not catastrophic—but on a brand-new £80,000 performance car, is it acceptable?

Fear not, though—we’ve come up with a solution. Once the paintwork has been corrected, we’ll apply some small pieces of PPF underneath the grommets to prevent any further damage.

What do you think? 🤔

About time I got my hands on one of these 😏😏
