Vehicle Technician job available

This is an opportunity to join a small independent local garage in the Walton area of Liverpool. Auto repairs Liverpool has an excellent reputation and prides itself on the quality of work delivered to its committed customer base. I require an experienced technician to support the growing demand coming through and am looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years experience and also with the ability to take on a range of tasks from servicing & minor repairs to larger more complex jobs that require experience in the trade.

Job Description:
• Communicate with customers to understand issues, concerns and provide work estimates
• Working on all makes of vehicle, including LCV
• Carry out Services, Repairs & Maintenance to high standards
• Maintain repair and service records
• Maintain equipment and facilities to ensure functional longevity and workplace safety
• Road Test vehicles
• Complete paperwork in detail and to satisfaction
• Observe safe working practices
• Complete all tasks to customer satisfaction
• Capable Tyre Fitter/puncture repairs (Ideal, not essential)
• Good knowledge of use of diagnostic equipment (Ideal, not essential)

Personal Requirements:
• Full Driving License
• NVQ Level 3 Motor Mechanics or equivalent
• 5 Years or more experience
• Must have Own Tools – Other specialist tools available

Person Type:
• Must be an excellent communicator, especially when taking calls and engaging with customers
• Be customer service orientated, always professional and courteous
• Display confidence with a can-do attitude, hands on regardless of task
• Be a natural problem solver, find the root cause
• Good attention to detail, complete job admin efficiently and accurately
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Have good time management & be willing to go the extra mile where needed

Job Offer:
• Working Hours – Monday to Friday 08.30>5:30pm (Saturdays optional)
• Holiday – 28 Days
• Salary - £26,000> £32000 per annum (paid weekly) based on experience

MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician

Time served mechanic required for busy garage Monday to Friday occasionally half day Saturdays. Mot tester a bonus but not essential training can be provided later. Must have driving license own tools and previous job references. Type of work will include camblets clutches brakes servicing and mot repairs. Salary based on experience £400 to £600 a week paid weekly.
