Hello everyone, after the summer break we're finally back!

If you're interested in joining the team, please attend our welcome talk this Thursday (14th October) at 17:00 - 18:00, in the Peter Jost Lower Lecture Theater, on the Byrom Street Campus! We'll have team members directing you from reception to the lecture hall, if you don't know where to go.

All LJMU students between foundation year and master's year are welcome to join.

What's your favourite part of being a member of the e race team? How much I learn from the other team members😘

Favourite car part? I know it's been said already but the suspension rockers!⚙️

Why you decided to join the team? It seemed like a really interesting extra curricular activity where I could learn alot and get my hands dirty✨

What are you most excited for in the upcoming months with the team? I'm looking forward to seeing the car on a track⚡

Role: Head of Brakes, Wheels and Tyres

What's your course? MEng Mechanical Engineering🎓

What's your favourite part of being a member of the e race team? The camaraderie, and having a sense of pride in seeing a final product.✨

Favourite car part: The nose cone - when it’s on it makes the car look finished 😁🏎️

Why you decided to join the team? I’ve always had an interest in cars, so having the opportunity to build one excited me.

What are you most excited for in the upcoming months with the team? Hopefully competition, and just seeing a functioning vehicle ⚡

Fun facts about yourself: I play rhythm guitar in a band back at home 🎸
