Today was a first, 2019 VW Polo 1.0 with 31k on the clock with a leaking water pump, customer brought his own pump which we told him was a bad idea, hours later we have the old one off an compare similar but not the same, 6 different Eng codes an pumps all similar but not the same. We sourced it from VW themselves an it wasn’t cheap but the right one. Be aware this 1.0 petrol 3 cylinder engine is fitted in many different vehicle manufacturers cars an vans. We were the only Garage the customer asked that would take the job on, even the main dealer shyed away….shame on them.
