Great news if you're thinking about starting to learn to drive.

The cost of applying online for a provisional driving licence will fall from £50 to £34 from 31 October 2014. If you apply by post it will drop to £43.

The course which can be taken anytime after you have passed your driving test is a practical training course that takes around 6 hours to complete and is for drivers to improve their skills and drive more safely.
