🚗 BYD – Passenger Door Dent Repair 👌

This BYD came to us with damage to the passenger door, right on the bodyline crease. These repairs can be particularly challenging, requiring precision, patience and expert technique to achieve the perfect finish.

Tiny dent on this Audi RS4 — but definitely not a straightforward repair! 👌

Although the damage was minor and would normally be an easy repair, there were several obstacles that made access particularly challenging.

The dent was located on a crossbar bonded to the vehicle, with the damage positioned low down, making access from above extremely difficult. The tinted glass added another obstacle to getting the correct access and visibility.

Despite the challenges, we managed to access the dent and repair it 100% successfully — leaving a perfect finish with no need for paint or filler. 👌

Not the biggest dent we’ve repaired, but this Mercedes presented a unique challenge due to its matt paint finish.

Unlike traditional gloss paint, a matt finish doesn’t reflect light, making the contours of the dent much harder to see and read accurately.

Matt paint also requires a very different approach, as polishing or traditional paint correction isn’t an option without risking the finish.

Despite the added challenge, we were able to carefully work the panel and restore the shape of the bodywork while preserving the original matt finish. 👌

🚗 1️⃣ Range Rover Sport – Rear Arch

Not the biggest dent, but definitely a tricky repair! Being double-skinned, access was extremely limited, meaning the dent could only be carefully glue-pulled back into shape.

🚙 2️⃣ Volvo XC40 – Tailgate

A very deep crease requiring a combination of lateral tension, glue pulling, and specialist PDR rods and tips to carefully return the panel back to its original shape 👌
