❄️ Mercedes V-Class Air Conditioning Fault Diagnosed ❄️

Customer reported poor air conditioning performance.

Using nitrogen pressure testing and leak detection solution, we traced the fault to a leaking component within the A/C system. The leak was confirmed by visible bubbles forming during testing, allowing us to accurately identify the source before carrying out repairs.

🚐Mercedes V-Class in with multiple warning messages displayed on the dash.

After carrying out a full diagnostic check, we traced the fault to an internal issue within the steering angle sensor.

A replacement steering column module was fitted, programmed and calibrated, before carrying out final checks and a road test to confirm the repair.

Another happy customer and another V-Class back on the road. ✅

❄️ Mercedes V-Class in with poor air conditioning performance.

The customer had noticed the A/C wasn’t getting properly cold, so it was time for some diagnosis rather than just throwing a regas at it.

Using thermal imaging and UV leak detection we traced the issue to a leaking A/C pipe connection. The UV dye made the leak easy to identify once the system was inspected.

This is exactly why we always recommend diagnosing the fault first. Simply topping the system up would have got it cold again for a short time, but the refrigerant would have escaped through the leak and the problem would soon return.

Fault found, repair plan agreed and another V-Class on its way back to blowing ice cold. ❄️
