One of Ferrabyrne's own, Katie, has been working with St Mary's school to find story's of World War 1 hero's who attended the school before leaving to serve this country.
Each child at the school has been given a soldiers story to read and carry during the remembrance day service; which not only gives them a real person to think about during the silence, but also brings to life the real sacrifices these people made.

Ferrabyrne have even adopted our own soldier to think about, Alfred Tizzard, who lived near our current works.

We have been approached by St Catherine's Primary School in Littlehampton, for help with their 'Outdoor Area Project'.

They are just about to embark on an exciting new project! They are putting plans in place to develop the school grounds, and turn this space into a wonderful outdoor learning space. This will include a covered circular seating and teaching area, a garden planting area with raised beds and a reflective area with seating.

They are intending to create this outdoor learning environment themselves and asking for their school community to help, aiming to re-cycle as much as they can. They are looking for donations of wooden pallets, pieces of wood, logs, paving, ground cover and membrane, garden tools, people's expertise as a gardener or builder. Anything to help!

Ferrabyrne Limited will be helping with this project, and we are really excited to be a part of it. If you could help them, please do get in touch!

Georgian Gardens CP School held a cake sale in July to raise money for new books for their school! Ferrabyrne Limited donated £100 towards their cause helping them raise £295.61! That’s an amazing amount 👏🏻 and will enable them to buy a wide range of books for the children ❤️
