Another wet belt completed this week on the infamous 2.0 eco blue engine. We are starting to see more and more of these fail now with a lack of maintenance being carried out. This belt had not snapped yet but the vacuum pump had failed due to the belt degrading and blocking up oil ways.

This job was completed with all new genuine parts to get the customer up and going again.

Today we had a 2021 ford transit booked in for an ABS diagnostic after the light appeared on the dash whilst driving. We carried out a diagnostic scan and located the fault to be on the left rear wheel speed sensor.

We proceeded to do a visual inspection and a few electrical tests and the fault was located to be a broken wire in the loom to the speed sensor.

After discussing with the customer they opted for us to repair the broken loom rather than replace the complete loom. The repair on the loom was carried out as well as a check over to make sure there was no further faults on the vehicle and the customer was left happy.
