🌧️ A proper British morning!

Grey skies, drizzle in the air and just enough rain to make you wonder whether you really need to put the roof down on your classic today.

But let's be honest… if we waited for perfect weather in Britain, we'd hardly ever go anywhere! 😄

There's something rather lovely about a leisurely drive through the countryside, wipers working overtime, heater on (hopefully!) and a good cup of tea waiting at the other end.

So tell us… are you a fair-weather classic driver, or do you head out whatever the British weather throws at you? 🚗☔

🍂 There is something very special about an autumn drive
Summer might have had the sunshine, but there’s something rather special about getting out in a classic on a crisp autumn morning.
Cool air. Golden leaves. Quiet country roads. Maybe a little mist, a decent pub at the end of it… and that wonderful feeling of being somewhere between “this is a lovely drive” and “I really should have brought a coat.” 😄
Autumn driving can be some of the best of the year. The roads are quieter, the countryside looks fantastic and there’s no better excuse for taking the long way home.
Just remember: check your tyres, lights, fluids and wipers before you head out — and keep an eye out for wet leaves, standing water and those increasingly enthusiastic puddles.
Then get out there and enjoy it.
Because classics weren't built to spend all winter looking pretty in the garage. 🍂🚗

We regularly tell people that the Classic Car Mechanic team love what they do and that they're passionate about their cars and bikes, this weekend was a great example of just how much. On Saturday four of them were in the workshop working on their own projects and Sunday the group chat was filled with pictures of what they were doing and there were no gardening shots or scrabble boards.
