Disappointed to announce I've taken the decision to cancel the On Two Wheels Auction.
It was due to take place a fortnight today, Sunday 6th October. But, despite a lot of cold calling, I've failed to find any traders clearance this time round.
We have had a few private vendors entering lots at past sales which we are of course very grateful for. However we have been quite heavily reliant on bulk trade entries. I dont want buyers travelling to find a near empty hall and yard when they arrive!
I will be trying again in the new year and will announce a date (probably early March) as soon as I've got a firm booking for the hall.

We have several tractors and associated equipment which are in need of maintenance.

This is a self employed opportunity on a part time basis - typically 1 to 2 days a week for 12 months, then a day or less per week thereafter. May suit a retired individual with experience of maintaining basic agricultural equipment

We have tools and workshop space on a lovely rural location!

We need an experienced Agricultural Engineer to sort out a number of tractors (Zetor and Case ‘JCB’) and some related equipment on the golf course site. We can’t justify offering a full time position - perhaps the equivalent of a day, maybe two, a week.
May suit a retired individual working for cash in hand? We will be flexible with time to suit you and your existing commitments. All enquires are welcome.

Carole and I just finished a touring holiday in Germany ! Enjoyed it. Went to a really neat motor museum in Chemnitz, south of Leipzig. Being in the old East Germany, the exhibits obviously reflected this. There were numerous examples of DKW, MZ and Simpson marques.
- a few pictures and descriptions to follow. Not a massive exhibition but easily justifies a three hour plus walk round. AND its 20 minutes up the road from Colditz castle!

This Orbit Harrier ‘fast tourer’ was sold at one of our weekly household clearance auctions after some competitive bidding at £55. It need a full refurbishment but the quality of this bike, hand built in Sheffield, shone through. Our next On Two Wheels Auction will be attracting some bicycle enthusiasts. Have you got anything like this in your shed that you’d be happy to offer for sale the day?
