More Suzuki Bandit 1000 parts for Graham's full rebuild.

Photo 4 was the most problematic part by far; an apparently 'high-end' American end can sleeve.

Lots of corrosion - particularly under where the to-frame mounting strap strap/bracket had been fitted, and thin metal which was completely full of imperfections (always an issue with sheet metal).

What looks like a simple, half-hour job was actually hours of work to get to this flawless standard.

Kettle holder for one of Glenn's vintage picnic set (kettle had been completed previously).

Another one of those jobs that looks simple, but as with everything fabricated from sheet metal (as opposed to 'cast'), the metal is ALWAYS full of imperfections in the metal.

These can't be abraded out because doing so would cause 'dipping' in the surface of the metal, making the end result look amateurish and poor.

The only solution is to mop the blemishes out. This generally adds 50 -100% additional time to every sheet-metal job.

End result looks good, but very few people understand the hours that are needed to achieve a 'flat', blemish-free finish.
