This Hyundai i10 was damaged by another driver recently. Damage to the front bumper, wing and alloy. The 2 parties wanted to avoid insurance so we offered various repair methods but the car owner wanted the repairs done properly to return the vehicle to original condition and value as it’s being sold soon.

Vauxhall Astra Non Fault Insurance Repair.

🔹The owner of this Astra was hit in the rear bumper corner by another vehicle whilst parked. They did the most important thing in taking evidence at the scene of the damage and details of the other driver responsible, but didn’t know how best to deal with the repair. They were recommended to us by a previous customer.

🔻We advised our non fault claim service via our accident management provider. This allows a full high quality, detailed repair with costs claimed direct from the 3rd party insurer without involving their own. This provides a stress free experience with no pressure or hassle from the insurers. Full no claims retention, with no costs to our customer and a courtesy hire car whilst in repair.

🔸Damage sustained was Impact to the rear bumper and lower valance. The plastic bumper was excessively stretched, split and mis-shaped so a new one was required with a new lower valance and near side retainer bracket. We also did a 4 Wheel alignment check and adjustment just to be safe.

◾️We carried out this repair out to a limited contract cost so the car wasn’t financially written off to ensure our customer retained their car and was back on the road ASAP with no financial loss. A normal insurance claim with an approved insurer repair shop may not have done this.

🔹As a full bumper was required to be painted we also carried out blends to the rear quarters for colour tone match. These had been previously repaired by others to a poor standard with a poor colour match to the rear doors. We fully repainted them as an extra free of charge to ensure the customer had a much better colour match to the doors and we just couldn’t let the car be returned like that !

◾️Paintwork stages carried out using Baslac (BASF) primers, sealers, 45 line basecoat and 40-100 High Solids Clearcoat. Fully lifetime ownership guaranteed against natural degradation.

🔺Full electrical function check and pre and post repairs diagnostic check and road test.

🔹Pre repair panel wash and decontamination and post repair valet, exterior and interior.

⭐️All this allows the vehicle to be fully returned to pre accident condition with minimum hassle for the customer.

🔺The extremely poor weather towards the end of 2025, dark mornings, constant rain and generally poor driving environment, brought us lots of repairs with more severe damage. This was the last repair of the year.

🔹Caused by reversing under a car port in very bad weather and light, damage was caused to most of the off side panels and rear bumper.

◽️This Honda HRV needed a new drivers door, whole mirror unit, new rear alloy and various mouldings and trims.

🔻Fully refinished in Baslac paint products from start to finish in less than a working week, getting the customer back on the road for Christmas.

🔸We also fixed a few other non incident related imperfections, as a good will gesture on these panels to create an as new result.

🔹Another VW Polo repair. The penultimate one of 2025. Self insurance claim for damage to the Off Side Front bumper and light scratches to both Near Side doors

🔶Refinished with Baslac (BASF) products throughout, High build primer, Wet on Wet Sealer, 45 line basecoat topped with 40-100 High Solids Clearcoat for the Ultimate gloss and protection.

🔺Repairs were finished off with a full system diagnostic scan and recalibration of the front adaptive cruise control radar, as the front bumper was removed with the radar mounted behind the VW badge in the grille.

Volkswagen RLine Polo Insurance repair this week.

The client made a self claim and chose us to repair. There was excessive damage to the rear door being scraped along a concrete post. This pressed the face of the panel over the internal crash bar protection, and caused minor scratches to the front door and its handle.

A New rear door was refinished and fitted, repair and blend into the front door and a blend into the rear quarter panel, up and over the roof to the front ‘A’ pillar.

Colour was Black Pearl, code LC9X. Finished in Baslac 450 high solids clearcoat.

We are now able to offer a new service to repair and refinish of kerbed diamond cut faced alloys.

This one completed today on a Volvo XC90 looking brand new again.

The process involves removing the tyre, aqua blasting the entire face to create a key for adhesion, removing any excessive kerb damage on painted faces and then recutting of the outer bright bare metal face on a diamond cutting lathe at high speed. The wheel is then fully cleaned and degreased before a special DTM (direct to metal) clearcoat is applied. It’s then baked and cooled before re fitting of the tyre and balanced.

We offer a 12 month guarantee on diamond alloys against natural degradation or peeling from non impact damage.

Tesla Model 3 Paintless dent repair.

A stunning repair from Jamie today on this Tesla 👌. These doors are Aluminium, have double glazed glass and a crash bar welded in that runs right near the main swage line where this dent was located. A real tricky one. No paint, No filler, just pure skilled manipulation of the panel.

The customer was delighted and posted a 5 star review immediately on our Google page “Went to 4 different bodyshops who all said a Paintless Repair was not possible. 4 hours with these guys and its like a new car. 100% recommend.”

Mini John Cooper Works repair. A small scratch and dent to the rear quarter panel caused by someone opening their door into it.

The customer used our non fault service to claim the full costs of repair via the 3rd party’s insurance.

The great benefits being, not having to claim via their own insurance, protection of non claims bonus, no excess to pay and a hire vehicle to use whilst it’s being repaired.
