What a weekend at The Blend Events 2026! 👏

Steve and Kyle were invited to take to the stage to share our journey about Building a Modern Independent Garage That Stands Out.

From the lessons we’ve learnt along the way to expanding the business, improving our processes and building a great team, it was a brilliant opportunity to share our experiences with others in the industry.

To be recognised at an event like this is incredible, but what makes this award even more special is that we were nominated by our peers. Other independent garage owners and businesses working in the same industry as us.

One of the biggest misconceptions we hear 👀

Using an independent specialist doesn’t automatically invalidate your manufacturer warranty.

As long as your car is serviced correctly and to manufacturer requirements, your warranty can remain valid. 🔧

Meet Stef 👋

Another very experienced pair of hands joining The MINI Repair Shop team.

Stef brings over 30 years of experience in the motor trade, including 8 years working within a BMW & MINI main dealer environment, so it’s safe to say he knows his way around a workshop. 🔧

He brings a huge amount of knowledge and technical experience to the team and we’re really pleased to have him on board.

And most importantly… his favourite BMW is the M2. Good choice if you ask us. 👀

We had some news for the team... and thought now was probably a good time to tell them. 👀

Introducing the brand new TMRS staff canteen and games room 🎯⚽️

A proper space for the team to switch off on their breaks, complete with a dartboard and football table.

Although we have a feeling the lunch breaks are about to get a little more competitive...

Now we just need to find out who’s actually any good. 😂
