🔧 BMW Oil Leak Diagnosis & Repair 🔧

Today we had a BMW in the workshop with a reported engine oil leak. Following a full inspection, we traced the leak to a failed rocker cover gasket, which is a common issue on these engines.

The rocker cover assembly was removed and replaced, sealing surfaces cleaned, and the system reassembled to manufacturer specifications. The oil leak has now been rectified and the vehicle has been road-tested, with the customer safely back on the road.

🚗 Today’s Job Complete! 🚗
We had a Mercedes in with us today after it failed its MOT on the bottom arms.
The repairs are now fully completed, and the customer has their car back on the road safely. ✅

In the workshop today 🚐
We’ve got a van in with coolant over-pressurising. We checked the EGR and it’s working as it should, with no leaks found. A head gasket test confirmed the issue, and unfortunately the head gasket will need replacing.

❗ No start issue today ❗
This Ford Fiesta was recovered to us after refusing to start.
Our investigation found the timing belt had failed — a common but serious issue if maintenance is overdue.

🔧 Vauxhall Astra Inspection Report
A Vauxhall Astra presented with clutch engagement issues. Upon gearbox removal, we confirmed that the clutch release bearing had suffered complete failure, requiring replacement.
