Ryan's really smart VW Crafter in for some routine maintenance recently with a timing belt and water pump replacement.

Caught at the right time! This customer didnt have any record of a timing belt replacement on their vehicle so booked in for it to be replaced along with the water pump.

On removing the top timing cover right at the start of the job this is how we found the belt, completely slack!

According to the manufacturers data this wouldnt have been due for another 24 months or 30,000 miles, there is no way it would have lasted any longer let alone untill then!

New timing belt, water pump, tensioners and cooling system flush carried out and this vehicle is good to go again.

Another vehicle on the ramp thats had some underbody tidy up work, this customer has picked a few colours and made a lovely job of it!

Also makes is fine and easy to carry out a 4 wheel alignment on!

We have upgraded our full garage management system recently and as part of that all of our vehicle inspections are now digital.

This allows our customers full visibility of all the areas of their vehicles you wouldnt normally be able to see in an easy to read report that comes complete with pictures!

This will be sent via both text and email to you in a link to allow you to view the report in your own time. You can then save the report to your computer/phone for future records.

Dont worry though if thats not your thing we can always print out a report for you in person at the reception if you would prefer 😊

Feedback so far is good and we hope this helps in our ambition to make it fully transparent for any work carried out to your vehicles as its a lot easier to see any issues rather than take someones word for it!

One of our top clients has a birthday celebration today and he chose to spend his lunch with us so as Owen Engineering tradition goes he also got a caterpillar cake!

Very very clean VW Golf in for a wheel alignment. The owner has gone all out and given this a full refurbishment! Absolutely stunning.
