🚀 Beyond the MOT: Spotlighting LF Truck Tech's Specialist Jobs🛠️

Keeping fleets safe with PMIs, maintenance, and MOTs is what we do daily. But we also pride ourselves on our highly sort-after diagnostic skills and ability to perform intricate engineering repairs that other shops avoid!

Weekly, we tackle technical, component-specific tasks that keep essential transport moving.
Check out these snapshots from two technical projects this week:

Tanker Restoration: A rapid turnaround was needed on a tanker's foot valve after loose bolts stripped the threads. The fix involved expert drilling and installing Helicoils to save the unit.

Minimizing Downtime: To keep the customer on the road fueling forecourts and businesses, we handled the collection and delivery of a hire tanker.

Full Pump Refurb: Simultaneously, we initiated a full pump refurbishment, sourcing parts, building new genuine supplier accounts, and securing competitive pricing. Roll on Friday, when we complete the build and run-test to guarantee it's back in top condition.

🚛 Another DAF LF Whale Gully Tanker Successfully Delivered! 💨

Last week, this modern Whale Gully Tanker supplied by Compton Tankers rolled through the LF Truck Tech Ltd workshop.

As always, our mission was to handle the complete workshop preparation on Compton Tankers Ltds' behalf, ensuring the unit was absolutely flawless before heading down to the team at RSP Drainage Limited

From the inspection pit to final handover, our engineers managed everything 100% in-house:

✅MOT prep and presentation Resulting in a first-time pass! 🥇

✅Full workshop preparation tuned and tested to peak performance standards.

✅Premium vehicle presentation, looking pristine and ready to represent both Compton Tankers and the end client.

We topped it off with an afternoon delivery to a sunny Neath, working around RSP Drainage's busy schedule to ensure a seamless handover. A long but incredibly rewarding end to the week, and another HGV delivered road-ready.
