We are delighted to offer VC 485, an original Works Riley Brooklands, for sale once more. This car has continued to be campaigned in the last couple of years and has benefitted from a full rebuild of it's hydraulic braking system as well as new tyres all round.

Chassis 8049, this Works car was built to race at the Irish Grand Prix, Dublin in 1929 and was fitted with a larger 20 gallon fuel tank for this purpose. The car was later purchased by John Treen who ran it as his highly successful alcohol competition car postwar. This car was the basis and inspiration for the later Treen specials that John built.

Included is a vast history file of past programmes and period photos of where the car has competed, now fastidiously filed and indexed by the current owner!
