This stunning Jaguar XJ came to us with a noticeable coolant leak. After a thorough inspection 🔍, we discovered the thermostat housing was cracked — a common issue that can cause overheating and serious engine damage if left untreated.

🛠️ Here’s what we did:
✅ Stripped down the necessary components to access the faulty housing
✅ Installed a brand-new thermostat housing
✅ Refilled the system with fresh coolant
✅ Fully bled the system to remove air pockets and ensure smooth operation

Now this Jaguar is back on the road, running cool, smooth, and leak-free 👌🔥

⚙️ Removed gearbox to access clutch assembly

🔍 Inspected clutch components, flywheel & release bearing for wear

🆕 Replaced complete clutch kit (clutch plate, pressure plate, release bearing)

🧼 Cleaned & prepared all mating surfaces

🔩 Reassembled gearbox & related components

🛢️ Checked & topped up gearbox oil

🛣️ Road tested – smooth gear changes & clutch working perfectly

Notes:
This was a big job 💪 due to the tight engine bay & complex gearbox removal on the Mini One. ✅ All work completed to a professional standard by S.T. SMITH AUTOS, and the vehicle is now back on the road with a brand-new clutch system. 🚘✨
