We are keen to expand our manufacturing team to meet customer demands and seek to recruit both skilled and semi-skilled staff. It is preferred that candidates have experience of manufacturing predominantly 3.5 tonne vehicle bodies to type approval standards, and are confident in working with various materials including steel, aluminium, wood, plastics and body panels of varying sizes, types and materials.
Experience in fabrication and welding, skilled with the use of electrical and air tools and general fabrication equipment, basic electrical and wiring experience would also be beneficial but not necessary.
The production of new vehicles involves the manufacture of Luton box bodies, low floor box bodies, curtain-siders, dropsides, fridge bodies, as well as varying other bespoke requirements. Dependent upon semi-skilled candidate’s experience, there will be opportunity to undertake ‘on the job’ training as required.
It is essential in these roles that you are able and committed to working as part of a team, in order to achieve a product of a high standard of construction and manufacture, and to meet requirements of not only the customer but industry type approval standards.
Salary will be dependent upon experience
Hours of work are: 0730am x 1600hrs
Overtime is available, subject to specific requirements.
