While many people were enjoying a well-earned half-term break, our workshops have been a hive of activity preparing for the busy season ahead! 🔧🚌
Over the past month alone, our incredible engineering team has:
✅ Refurbished an engine on one of our 87-seater coach deckers
✅ Built a brand-new engine and reconditioned the gearbox for one of our 91-seater coach deckers
✅ Removed and fully refurbished a gearbox on our 77-seater coach decker
✅ Started preparations to replace the engine on our 83-seater coach decker
✅ Serviced over 40 Air Con units on the fleet.
And kept on top of the maintenance program.
Behind the scenes, there’s a huge amount of work that goes into keeping our fleet operating safely and reliably, and our dedicated workshop teams are at the heart of it all.
Across the business, we’re proud to have an outstanding team consisting of 8 car and van technicians and 10 commercial vehicle technicians. Not only do they keep our own fleet on the road, but they also provide full maintenance support for 15 other PSV and haulage companies.
The numbers speak for themselves:
🔹 Over 125 commercial vehicle MOTs prepared and presented in the last 12 months
🔹 Well over 1,000 MOTs carried out through our Car & Van Centre
🔹 Countless repairs, servicing, diagnostics and rebuilds completed throughout the year
That’s a lot of tests, a lot of hard work, and a lot of commitment.
We’re incredibly fortunate to have such a skilled and dedicated team of people who work tirelessly behind the scenes, keeping the wheels turning not only for our own business but for many others too.
