Earlier this summer we were delighted to be asked by Classic & Sports Car Magazine to provide a Triumph Stag for their article 'Pieces of Eight'. Where the Stag came head to head with the V8 Ford Mustang Convertible... Of course the Stag came out on top!😉
The article has just come out in their September edition. Trina spent a fun day with their journalist Simon Hucknall and photographer Max Edelston, in the beautiful Leicestershire countryside for the photo shoot.

Our full length tutorial on raising and lowering a Triumph Stag hood. Following this sequence prevents unnecessary wear and ensures you get the longest life and best value possible from your hood.

However, we do full hood frame restorations and retrim in house - should you need a refresh!

Throwback! Years ago we were lucky enough to have this extremely rare prototype in for restoration - The 'Fast Back Stag'

During the late 1960s Triumph trialled a copy of Michelotti's fast back conversion of the original prototype Stag.
Mechanically it was a standard Mk1 Stag, but the body, interior trim and glazing were all unique to this design.

With the market of fast backs being extremely competitive at the time (Capris, Mustangs etc.), Triumph decided not to go ahead with the launch of this version. The factory built prototypes were then crash tested or cubed... Apart from one...

This fast back Stag was snuck out of the factory by a Triumph employee as a present to his wife!

Many years on it was rehomed and restored and continues to be admired by Triumph fans alike.
