Hey Everyone! We wanted to share a well over due update from our Co-Founder and President Mike Ellis:

Wow, it’s hard to believe it’s been a month since Peregryn officially completed the deal to acquire the Ultima brand! We have been hard at work and focused on critical tasks, but wanted to share some information, so here is an update for all of our followers and eager future customers.
First, we are overwhelmed by the hugely warm reception, personal notes of well wishes, and stories we have heard from Ultima owners and fans across the globe! You have only reinforced that this venture was the right move for the Ultima brand, to preserve the heritage, make it more accessible and carry it all far forward into the future. Thank you.

Currently our focus is on engineering documentation, assembly line process development, supplier onboarding and product improvement, all while still doing our best to serve the immediate needs of Ultima’s legacy customers through spare and repair parts support. We’ve already shipped to several customers!

Chris and I spent a week in England recently, doing important transition work and meeting with key suppliers. We’ve completed a round of key personnel hires as well, you’ll meet the rest of the team as soon as our website update goes live (soon!) We identified some immediate improvements that we’ll be able to implement on the 2027 car which will aid in assembly, future upgrades and serviceability (stay tuned for more information on that). And every day we field emails from vendors and customers who enthusiastically want to support Peregryn’s success. Y’all are truly amazing!

We are working hard on a major update to the website to bring new features and modules for customers and vendors. I don’t want to reveal anything ahead of time, but we are confident that it will be very well received. We at Peregryn believe it is important to improve our position, every single day. An example is now we have a dedicated parts team that you can reach via [email protected].

Rest assured, if you signed up to be on the list through the website, then you ARE on the list! We will progressively increase communications with the 200+ members of the list, as we have more specific information to share about the 2027 configurations, options and pricing. We are also working to add to the FAQ section of the website so that the answers to the most common questions are easy to find.
The Peregryn team shows up every day with incredible enthusiasm for what we are doing and I’m excited for the ways in which that will reflect in everything we produce for you. Our employees are proud of their work as are our amazing suppliers who love being on the Ultima platform. It is truly an honor to work with everyone involved.

A personal note from Richard Marlow on the sale of Ultima:

After much thought and careful consideration, I have decided to sell Ultima, and I am delighted to announce that the Ultima brand, IP, tooling and its manufacturing rights have been acquired by Peregryn Motors in the USA. Peregryn was founded by two amazing, serial car guys,who approached me with the idea of Ultima’s next chapter earlier this year.

From the very beginning, it has been incredibly important to me that, when the time came to pass Ultima on, the brand would be entrusted to people who share the same commitment to quality, innovation, and customer service that have always been at the heart of everything we do. I have every confidence that Chris, Mike, and the team at Peregryn will build on Ultima’s proud reputation and take the brand to even greater success.

To ensure a smooth transition, I will personally oversee the fulfilment of the current backlog of all new Ultima cars and spare/upgrade parts placed on order prior to August 2026. The original Ultima factory in England will take these orders to completion. Afterwards, Chris and Mike know they can easily reach out to me if I can help in any way as they stand up operations in the U.S.A.

I leave knowing that I have achieved everything I set out to accomplish. Building Ultima alongside my father and growing it into one of the world’s most respected names in high-performance sports cars has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. Seeing what we created together become recognised and admired around the world is something I will always be immensely proud of.

I would like to sincerely thank everyone who has been part of Ultima’s journey - our customers, partners, suppliers, and the dedicated people whose loyalty, commitment, and hard work have made everything we’ve achieved possible. Your support over the years has meant more to me than I can ever fully express.

Most of all, I would like to thank our customers. Many of you became far more than customers; you became friends, ambassadors, and members of the wider Ultima family. Seeing your enthusiasm, your pride of ownership, and the incredible cars you built and enjoyed has been one of the most rewarding aspects of this journey.

I wish everyone at Peregryn every success as they lead Ultima into this exciting new chapter.

A new chapter begins for a legendary marque. 🦅

Busy times here at the factory as we prepare the latest Ultima RS cars for delivery to customers around the globe.

It’s fantastic to see so many cars moving through the production process, each one being carefully prepared to its owner’s specification.
