Below are the funeral arrangements for Noel, should any of his friends on here wish to attend.

NOEL PATRICK BRENNAN

Of Castleford. Passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in hospital with his cherished family by his side, on the 2nd June 2026, aged 69 years.

The dearly loved dad to Lily and Freddie also a good friend and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The funeral will take place on Wednesday 1st July with service at Pontefract Crematorium at 12-20pm.
Family flowers only please. Donations will be kindly received in aid of The I.C.U at Pinderfields Hospital.
All attending are welcome to join the family after the service for refreshments to The Magnet Hotel, Castleford.

It is with great sadness we pass on the news that our parking attendant at Whitwood Truckstop, Noel has passed away after a short and sudden illness. He had worked at the site and for Exelby Services for over twenty years. A dedicated and loyal member of the team who always looked out for customers, from whom he knew many regulars fondly.

We'd like to pass on our deepest condolances to his family and friends at this difficult time. Noel, you will be greatly missed 🖤

In February Exelby Services donated £500 to help us raise awareness and be able to donate LifeVac anti choking devices into the community.

With this £500 we purchased;
1x Wall mounted LifeVac kit
7x Travel LifeVac Kits

These are/have been donated into the local community.

🚧 ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE :
The A19 southbound is now closed on nights from 8pm to 6am Monday to Fridays for the next 6 months between the A174 Parkway Interchange and the Crathorne Interchange for bridge repairs.

To access our A19 South services for fuel and parking, you can exit the A19 at the A174 interchange and follow signs for Yarm via the A174 and A1044. Then follow signs for Crathorne/A19 South.

Highways have diversion signs in place but these take traffic via Stokesley on the A174 east and A172. That detour is 10 miles longer and misses our A19 South services.

A19 northbound traffic is unaffected.
