We haven’t posted in a while, but we’ve been busy making the impossible possible!

We recently recovered a beautiful that had no reverse gear. After stripping the gearbox in-house, we discovered that the reverse gear had sheared away from the dog teeth. We made countless calls around the world, but we had no luck locating a new part, as it’s now obsolete.

With no other options, we decided to pursue a cost-effective repair, and precision laser welding was the solution we chose.

The vehicle is now back on the road, and the customer reports that “it has never driven as good.”

FF gearbox (Getrag 7DCL750) rebuild. This particular gearbox was suffering from the common Speed Sensor failure. The complete gearbox has to stripped to gain access to the sensor. Oil analysis was taken and carried out by which showed the clutch fluid had mixed with the gear oil giving us an opportunity to diagnose and repair an additional fault whilst the gearbox was stripped.

If you are having an trouble with your gearbox be sure to give us a call.
The 7DCL750 gearbox is fitted to the following vehicles
All Ferraris dated 2011 to current
Ford GT
Mercedes AMG GT

We have recently had this beautiful Ferrari FF in for a major oil leak, after carrying out initial checks we found that a new engine oil/coolant pump assembly to be required.
New pump and seals fitted and now ready to hit the road again.
