JUST ANOTHER DAY AT ECOBUILD 🔧

The ramps have barely had a chance to cool down…

This Focus is in for its wetbelt, the EcoSport has come in needing a turbo, and there’s another Fiesta on the ramp for — you guessed it — a wetbelt. 😂

Wetbelts, turbos, Fords… pretty much business as usual round here.

If your Ford is making a noise it shouldn’t, throwing a warning light, or you’re simply getting that horrible feeling something isn’t quite right — bring it in and let us have a look.

Better to catch it in the workshop than on the side of the bloody road. 😅

Two different Fords. One very familiar problem. 👀🔧

The Focus and Fiesta are both in with us for wetbelt replacements — and they’re getting the full EcoBuild treatment.

These engines don’t give you much warning when things start going wrong, so catching the belt before it becomes a much bigger job is exactly why they’re here.

Stripped down, inspected properly and rebuilt the way they should be.

Another two EcoBoosts getting some preventative maintenance before they become someone’s expensive headache. 😅

Three Fords in the workshop today, but only two jobs on the sheet… 👀🔧

The grey Fiesta is in for an engine replacement — a pretty serious bit of surgery. Having come to us as a non runner, we needed to get this back on the road😬

Then we’ve got both the red and black ones, both in for wetbelt replacements. Because apparently one wetbelt wasn’t enough for us this week. 😂

Busy ramps, engines everywhere and plenty of Ford goodness. Just how we like it. 🔧

Thursday mornings don’t stay quiet for long…

The workshop doors are open, the kettle’s on, and we’ve already got two Ford EcoBoosts stripped down for wetbelt replacements before most people have finished their first coffee.

Preventative maintenance might not be the most exciting thing to spend money on, but it’s a lot cheaper than replacing an engine. We’d always rather see your car in for planned maintenance than recovery.

A blocked oil pickup strainer might not look like much… but it can be the difference between a healthy engine and a very expensive repair.

👀 Before: Completely restricted with debris, starving the engine of the oil it needs.

✅ After: Clean, clear, and ready to do its job properly, restoring correct oil flow and protecting the engine.

This is exactly why we don’t cut corners on our 1.0 EcoBoost wetbelt jobs. Every engine is stripped, inspected and cleaned thoroughly to make sure it’s leaving our workshop in the best possible condition.

This Focus turned up before the wetbelt had the chance to turn into an engine rebuild.

It’s one of those jobs that doesn’t look dramatic from the outside, but anyone who’s seen a blocked oil pickup full of belt debris knows how quickly these can go wrong.

Today it’s getting the attention it needs, genuine parts, fresh oil, and peace of mind for the owner.

Sometimes the best repair is the one that stops the expensive one from ever happening. 👌
