🌧️ WET WEATHER DRIVING – TAKE EXTRA CARE! 🚗💦

With wet roads around Guildford and Surrey today, it’s worth remembering just how much rain can affect your car.

🛑 Stopping distances can at least DOUBLE in the wet. Leave more space and reduce your speed.

💦 Watch for aquaplaning. Standing water can cause your tyres to lose contact with the road. If your steering suddenly feels light, ease off the accelerator, avoid harsh braking and allow the car to slow gradually.

🛞 Tyres matter! Tread depth, pressure and tyre quality all have a major impact on wet-weather grip. Cheap budget tyres may save money initially, but check their wet-grip rating – there can be a significant difference in braking performance.
